Spine

The Spinal Surgery Service at Croom Hospital offers surgical treatments for conditions affecting the whole spine. This includes degenerative disease causing nerve pain in the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine as well as pain in the coccyx. The most common conditions treated include arthritis of the cervical and lumbar spine as well as disc protrusions causing sciatica or nerve pain in the upper and lower limbs. Spinal deformity, spinal tumours and spinal trauma are also managed by our surgeons.
